Most of the students have never even considered the idea of thinking about causes and effects. This is a problem in a lot of ways.It is almost as though the student has never thought about causes and effects. We need to ask ourselves how are they being taught their subjects, in what direction are they being exposed to that subject, at what age were they the greatest? At what age do our children become people who will write essays that will be their career?These are questions that should be asked because there is something very wrong with the way things are being taught. If this continues, we will soon have to realize that we will have to build an entire curriculum around the concept of causes and effects.This is not to say that all of the courses in schools should incorporate this essay style but it i s to say that they need to be involved and included in every course. You can't create a curriculum that includes a majority of the courses without incorporating the subject into every lesson. It seems to me that if there is no communication between the subject and the teacher there will never be any real, lasting change.There are some schools that do include their subjects in every lesson but they do so by grouping them together and by using them in conjunction with other subjects. This is going to be a problem for a while. I believe the causes and effects essay should be an integral part of the student's education and learning process. When you start realizing that there is nothing here but statistics, the only direc tion you can go is a direction where the subject is not being taught but the effects that occur in the process. The students will find the subject itself interesting and exciting.
